The heart behind my love of wedding photography comes from wanting to get to know my couples as friends, and come alongside their relationship to support them! That means that I get to learn all of these cool little facts about couples that I wouldn’t get to learn if I didn’t have this for my job. For example, this beautiful couple has a tradition where every Friday or Saturday they make buffalo chicken dip! They have been doing that for the last 4 YEARS! I think it is so cool when couples have little things that are something just the two of them share.
These love birds met at high school where they became fast friends, they came to realize that their friendship was something more and started dating before heading off in different directions for college. They adventured through two years apart at different colleges, another two years almost together at Pittsburgh and many more. I think we can safely say these two are beyond excited to finally be under the same roof and doing life together every day!! Alex describes it as, “ A couple defined by strength and distance will finally be together as husband and wife.”
Alex & Emilee tied the knot on July 6th at St. Gregory Church in North East, PA. The reception followed at Majestic Woods in Clymer, NY. It was beautiful as always at Majestic Woods and I was grateful to have a couple who was as excited about pictures as I am! They have a sweet friendship and Alex was up for anything that made Emilee smile.
Emilee was a STUNNING bride in a dress that she scored perfectly off the rack at Kleinfeld’s. She had strolled in there with her mom just for fun and not only was able to get a same day appointment but found her dress in her price range! Emilee snagged the dress and was so happy with it that she could hardly wait for Alex to see it. After a blindfolded prayer before the ceremony on the wedding day, the look on Alex’s face when he saw her in the dress for the first time made the wait so worth it. She just beamed with joy. They both did.
Congratulations once more to Mr. and Mrs. Hunter! We wish you a healthy and joy-filled first year of marriage and many more after that!!
