Beautiful sunset, Christ-Centered Day, and a couple in love? Sign me up!

Michael and Angela had a beautiful ceremony at Majestic Woods on July 10th. Surrounded by family and friends, these two celebrated their happily ever after!

A little peek into their story: Michael snuck his way into Angela’s life through her social media! She shares how it was purely a God thing (and his cute profile picture) that made her accept his friend request. They shared passing comments for a little while before December of 2019 when Angela used a “ask me anything” bubble on Instagram and Michal responded with, “we should get to know each other!”. To play it safe, Angela shared her Snapchat with him and the rest is history!

Angela shared with me, “Our first official date we went to Erie, 12/13/18. He wanted to take me there first, but my mom was too worried he’d kidnap me since we had no clue who he was lol. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings where I was shy and ordered a salad (blah), he had messy chicken wings, and he kept smiling at me across the table like a goon.  We went Christmas shopping for Michael’s mom that day, and he ended up driving me to the Bemus Overlook. I had a feeling he was going to kiss me and ask me to be his girlfriend but really wasn’t sure of what I wanted. I texted my mom on the highway on our way there and she told me that I should enjoy what God has blessed me with (she met him and they all fell in love with him), even if I didn’t feel ready. We got to the overlook and he had a hard time asking me to be his girlfriend, he was so nervous lol. After I finished his sentence for him we had our first kiss and it was immediate sparks. There were so many beaming smiles that day.”

Michael never grew up in the church, but as they went to church together, not only did their relationship grew BUT Michael accepted God into his heart in March! How awesome is that!!!

Angela & Michael went through their fair share of ups and downs leading to getting married, but after much consideration and conversations with friends and family they realized they couldn’t wait any longer! Angela said, “The next day is never guaranteed and I did not want another moment to go by without being married to Michael and having him as my husband.”

We got engaged with my great grandma’s ring (gifted to us by my mom) that November, and married on our 1 year anniversary, 12/13/19. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate with friends and family, so here we are for take two! Celebrating with family and friends! What a wonderful day!!
