Nicole + Andrew | The Kahkwa Club | Pennsylvania Wedding
When Nicole and Andrew reached out to me to capture their wedding day I knew it was going to be a great fit. Not only did we bond over everything they had planned (just wait until you scroll through their photos) but also our love for the Lord. It’s always a special joy to see my couples commit themselves to a beautiful covenant under Christ! Plus with their love of details and their families – this wedding is one for the magazines!
If you have been hanging out with me for a while you know I am a sucker for unique, sentimental details & Nicole and Andrew did not disappoint. Nicole’s mom, Marilyn, planned to surprise Andrew with an ice cream truck during the reception! Although it wasn’t quite a surprise, let me tell you the backstory of the ice cream truck! …When Andrew proposed to Nicole he wanted to have her celebrate with all their family so after she said yes on a boat (how romantic is that?!?) when they arrived back at the shore to meet up with their families, they stumbled upon an ice cream truck! There was no way they could pass it up so they all stoped at the ice cream truck to add to the celebration before the big dinner. Nicole’s mom wanted to bring that memory back into their wedding day and the guest loved grabbing a sweet treat from the Smiley’s Ice Cream Truck.
We started the day at the First Presbyterian of Erie where these two said “I Do”, then we headed to the always incredible, Kahkwa Country Club. (If you are looking for a wedding venue – the Kahkwa always goes above and beyond!) The reception was filled with laughter, stories about the couple, and delicious food. I love that Nicole and Andrew let me steal them away for some absolutely gorgeous golden hour photos. It gave these two a chance to connect in the quiet and me a chance to capture their sweet love. I am really excited to share those with you below.

It was a gorgeous wedding and the pictures are beautiful. They are the cutest couple. One picture of loved of how David, her father was loving looking at her while they were dancing.
