Aly & Alec said I do on a beautiful day in September with friends and family surrounding to celebrate their love and commitment to each other. It was a relaxed day focused solely on the couple, which is what I love to see! A wedding is about two becoming one, but also a great reminder of the love and support the couple has from their friends and family.

Aly and Alec met in 2014 in their sophomore year of college! They met through mutual friends and still go back in forth about who asked who out first! However, Aly says she initiated it when she told their mutual friend that if Alec didn’t ask her out by the end of Christmas Break, she was going to ask him out herself! Fast forward a few years and they graduated from college, built a life together, and brought home two puppies! Alec proposed in January of 2020 in the kitchen of their home! Aly says, ” there wouldn’t have been anywhere more fitting because it is where we are the most ‘us’.”

I love that they kept their wedding an “us” thing as well with unique touches. Aly’s dress was purchased off Etsy and then her mom added extra lace and beads to Aly’s dress that came from her dress!  How sweet is that?!
