Choosing a venue in New York or Pennsylvania

Now that you know the ceremony do’s and don’ts – it is time to tackle venues!

Choosing your venue is one of the first things you do after getting engaged (after you book me of course 😉), especially these days as wedding venues are filled up with C*vid overflow STILL! It can be stressful deciding on a location that will fit all of your needs and your guests. So whether you live on the line between PA & NY like I do, or are looking for somewhere close to family – I have just the post for you!

Tips On What To Look For

Before we get into the actual venues, let’s go over really quickly what to look for when choosing a venue!

What is your style? Are you thinking of a boho wedding, a classic style, or something more outdoors elopement style? The answer to those questions will help you choose a venue and backdrop for your wedding day.

Do you want indoor, outdoor, or both? This will help in determining if you need multiple locations or something that does both!
Be sure to VISIT a few places! While pictures are fantastic, they don’t always convey the feel or functionality of a venue.

BUDGET! This may be the most important – set a hard line for a budget and a number you are willing to pay for a location. Weddings are all about prioritizing what is important to each couple.
