Jerrod and Lexy’s love story began on 5-8-13 in their junior year of high school! That’s right, these love birds are high school sweethearts!! They met through mutual friends when their friends convinced them to go on a double date and then accompanying each other to Junior Prom! 

As their relationship progressed as they experienced high school graduation together and the next steps of growing up, their love grew as well! On 10-28-17 Jarrod surprised Lexy with a proposal! Here is what Jerrod had to say about that special day…. “It was awesome! How many people can say they proposed as Forrest Gump!? We were at a Halloween party beforehand and were dressed as Jenny and Forrest. On the ride home I was starting to get nervous, but I knew it was going to be a such a special moment. I had a little assistance from my parents and who helped me decorate the porch in a Halloween theme for when we got back. It was difficult to hide from Lexy, but I know she definitely surprised! Marrying my best friend is such a special feeling and I am so excited for our big day!”

How special is it to have a unique memory to look back on? From there became the stressful, but fun parts of wedding planning! They designed their wedding band and Lexy’s engagement ring from Jarrod’s grandma’s ring, they picked their first dance song (From The Ground Up by Dan and Shay) and made a memorable table to celebrate and remember those who have gone before them. The day was truly beautiful and worth ALL of the hard work! 

The ceremony and reception where held at Majestic Woods in Clymer, NY! If you have been following along on wedding week on social media with us, you would know that I love this venue. What made it even more special was getting to capture such a stunning couple and bridal party. They make it so breathtaking! 

These two spent the reception laughing and relaxing together, celebrating their love with each other and their family! It is one of the coolest parts as a photographer, getting to watch and capture the couples connect with family and friends that support and love them! It is so refreshing for the soul! 

Congratulations to Jerrod and Lexy! Here is to no longer saying goodnight and good morning through text, and spending weekends hanging out on your patio together! We love you and are cheering you on!
